Yeah...we got spooks...spiders(poor little fellas)...pumpkins(why they put them in, though I do love pumpkin pies)...and that strange name: Halloween. Whence cometh this dayath? What’s the origin of Halloween, huh? Well...it started a long...lonngg time ago, back when things were a little different. Back then people worshiped trees, the moon, rocks and a bunch of other stuff - different times indeed.

This so-called Halloween(All-Hallows-Even), as it’s called, was said to have began as a festival, a rockin’ good ol’ time that marked the end of summer. Some where along the line some Scotttish connected supernatural happenings with the party. And that’s where we folks caught on, and it looks like we’ve took it to a whole nother level y’all.

So...there you have it - the whole story...the origin of Halloween. Party and have a spooky ole time. Oh... kids, I’ll tell ya 'bout that candy issue another time. Aight??

Bobby DeBarge: Remembering A Real Singer

Now, here is a singer that was a strong influence on my music and how I go about it. His name is Bobby DeBarge...what an outstanding vocalist - a Real singer. He was the lead singer of “Switch”, a soul group on Motown Records. Once hailed as the new Jackson 5, this group showed creativity and poise...and how to party. But the focal-point was the suave lead singer, Bobby DeBarge, a singer who could switch(pardon the pun) vocal altitudes at will. Bobby is no longer among us, but we carry him always in our hearts. By the way, Bobby DeBarge has a son: Bobby DeBarge Jr. who sings...so watch for him. Bobby thanks for the memories.

A 96 yr old can’t vote in Tennessee?

Is it Tennessee, or is it racism? What is this?...Believe me, Miss Cooper has seen a lot of that but surely it had to end one day. Hey! We have a black president, and we can vote...OPPS!!! Right? No way they say, we’ll just change a law or two. We'll catch a few birds, blackbirds, with this one they said. Miss Dorothy Cooper, a 96 year old black resident in Chattanooga, Tennessee was just what was planned. Worked like a charm.

Miss Cooper be careful, I hear they have some sleek new jewelry for you to wear, too. Just call it the “chains of love”:

The genius has died, Steve Jobs was a genius, and nobody will say different. This man continue to will live on in all the wonderful and useful creations he envisioned and created. Mr. Jobs will be missed...he inspired and drove many a friend and competitor to greatness. Steve Jobs has died but we will remember him as a modern-day Michelangelo. The man was so eager to show us his latest idea stream that we came to rely and expect electronic miracles from him. And he never, ever disappointed us. Thank you, Steve Jobs.

Preacher’s Koran Burning On 9/11 Shows Disrespect Of Religion

Well, that didn’t last long...he reneged on the deal. A Florida preacher, Mr. Terry Jones said he was going to burn Korans and no one could stop him. Now hes announces the event will never happen.Ii was all just one big publicity stunt, and he had the nerve and disrespect to use religion. What a flip-flop....is this socalled preacher a fraud or slick businessman? I’m convinced he’s both. Using religon for personal gain - he’s no better than the people he was attacking.

He should be ashamed...he really insulted and hurt many believers in the Koran. We all need to be more tolerant of other’s beliefs - be it religion or any other aspect of their native culture. This is America and we must stand together to keep this country strong. On this 9/11 anniversity let’s all remember what tolerance is all about....let us remember the deaths that occurred because of a select few who chose to believe in division. Their deaths must push us closer and not further apart.

To you preacher I say let that Koran burning stunt be your last stunt for that is not the way we Americans treat others. Mr. Terry Jones a preacher must have compassion in his heart.

Survivors of 9/11 I say be strong and keep your head up, we all understand what this day means. GOD BLESS AMERICA!!

Economic Downturn: Republicans?

No apologies this time...I just had other tasks to complete. So, here I am, again...I miss you too. Okay, let the show begin...READY? Here we go.... Alright...let’s talk about this economy...folks...we got problems, big problems. The stock market goes up only to fall down. President Obama and the Republicans are fightin’...Bill Parcells traded Jason Taylor away to the Jets(mindblowing!) and many other delights occurred peeps.

Hey...so negative, huh? Well...not really, one must always see reality as it truly presents itself ans wishful thinking only results in trouble. Remember....one should always look both ways before crossing the road. If you don’t...well....you gone get hurt...hurt badd...real baddd... See, reality only works if we are REAL...no sleeping on the job. Look...hey...the Republicans obviously were sleeping at the economic controls for a decade, look at America’s economic state. Well?? Agreed?? Reality is brutal to one who refuses to acknowledge it. The Republicans have gotten was into a mess beyond messes. May Reality help us. Okay my beloved Republican visitors, I mean no harm, I’m just stating the reality of the situation...if you see different...please...please leave a comment.

Well...that’s my take...my thoughts for the moment, hope you all enjoyed it. More to come.

Me, The BP Disaster, Lakers And The Rest

GOOD GRIEFFF!! Am I still here? Mayday!!...mayday!!....man overboard!!... Nay, no need for all that....I’m still active. I just went awol from this blog for a minute, same as before(see above post)...sorry peeps, but I been busy. Not time to sleep or eat...really. Running after success takes a lot time and effort. I just couldn’t relinquish my other task, I was so caught up I hardly knew who I was. Well, forgive me...once again, I’m back in the saddle. Glad to see you guys.

While missing, some things have been going on - Gary Coleman of Different Strokes died, BP blew out a oil well, poor fishies, what a shame - yes, I may have been away but I was in tune. And more, the economy is still in the dungeon, the Koreans are fighting - andwhere are the jobs?!!! Oh...and don’t forget about Toyota. We got traitors and terrorist popping up everywhere and they seem to have no remorse, while all the while enjoying the pleasures that America provides. I tell ya, this dear world of ours has quite a bit of negativity circulating around in its veins.

Still, my courageous and viliant fellow Americans, we must more than ever carry on the good fight with optimism, and the assurance of a better tomorrow. As Americans, we know how to defeat bad times...we’ve seen a few. America will win...America must win!!!

Yeah...I hear ya...you glad I’m back. Me too.

Oh...almost forgot this, Cobe Bryant and them L.A. Lakers won again, well...well...
