Steve Jobs Has Died

The genius has died, Steve Jobs was a genius, and nobody will say different. This man continue to will live on in all the wonderful and useful creations he envisioned and created. Mr. Jobs will be missed...he inspired and drove many a friend and competitor to greatness. Steve Jobs has died but we will remember him as a modern-day Michelangelo. The man was so eager to show us his latest idea stream that we came to rely and expect electronic miracles from him. And he never, ever disappointed us. Thank you, Steve Jobs.

Money Talks

Money talks, it has a language all to itself, a language we all understand. It is so loved, so powerful...we lose our heads over it. Yes...money talks and this little green paper carries a tremendous amount of weight on our minds. We sing about it...we think about and we crave it. Take a look at the economy, what do you think put us in this horrible economic state? Right...you guessed it - money - and the constant desire to hoard it and attain more of it. Let's start combating our greed and constant craving for money, we got to change our attitude towards it or we are in for more trouble. Think about it.

We Artists Hate Marketing!!!

Being an artist, I really hate marketing sometimes, yes, we creatives have to do it too - we’re businessmen, too. But let me tell ya....sometimes...sometimes I just hate the idea of marketing, it is so time consuming. It definitely takes me out of my artistic mode, makes me feel alittle numb, or should I say, alittle too left-brained? Puts me in a mood similar to an accountant, you know. And that is death to an artist, that is totally alien to our nature....sometimes I just wanna cut off my ear(yeah, in reference to that painter guy).

Well...I just wanted to drop this tidbit on you guys, I been marketing my art and music so much lately I had to talk about it. An artist can get extremely annoyed by business dealings, at least this one can. Well, back to “Artland”, the place I love so much.

Here is a new piece of artwork I finished recently:

America: Bad Economy, Macy’s Down But Let’s Be Strong

Wow...this economy is really...I mean really in a bad, bad shape...and it’s only getting worse. And have you noticed? Gas prices are beginning to once again climb up the charts. Folks, tell me, how much more of this can we take?... Well, me? I just bought a one-way ticket to Mexico and I’m out of here(ha...ha...hah...), okay, I just lied...I’m going to sweat this thing out with the rest of my fellow citizens. But , fa real...America is in a very bad place right about now.

Just today, Macy’s cut thousands, 7,000 in fact, jobs, yes, “America’s Department Store”, that famed dealer in clothes, household goods, and the rest - is slashing jobs. This news is very important because being a well known destination for shoppers, Macy’s troubles give a clear indication of the buying patterns of a large section of American retail shoppers. Being around so many, many years, Macy’s is a favored and trusted retailer, so, their inability to procure sales is certainly big news and a good indication of America’s economic health. Many people will patronize Macy’s even if they fail to buy at other retail establishments.

Even with this sour economy, we can grow...things are horrible but we can use this same weak economy to straighten out our ways; behaviors when dealing with these discomforting issues in our lives. In order to strengthen a muscle in our body, we must engage it in struggle or resistance, this resistance(usually asome type of weight) calls out new force; new energy from that muscle. This new energy, this extra effort infuses the muscle, causing it to develop and become stronger and it increases its ability to accomplish the task it seeks to fulfill(in this case, mental empowerment). Yes...we can become more able; more up to the meeting life’s challenges by strengthening our mental abilties and transmuting our negative circumstances, transforming them into more agreeable events. A bad economy doesn’t have to destroy us and turn us into down-trodden pessimists.

At this time in United States, we are going through a rough phase, we even hear the word “Depression” coming up, but we can allow our lower parts to destroy what light we still have in us. The economy is in abad shape but we can and will survive....this I truly believe. This United States of America is a fighter, we take our hits but remain strong to see another day. We will make it... We will make it!!!

US Gas Is Sky High - Wish I Owned An Oil Company

They are raking it in, the oil sheiks of the Middle East, our own beloved American oil companies - Shell, Texaco, Exxon, Mobil, Chevron, Amaco and the rest. The oil is pumping and the already swollen pockets are getting bigger and bigger. Money, money, money for all...except us, the petroleum-buying public, most of us are suffering, we can’t believe the prices. It’s as if we have become pawns in a terrifying oil/energy game. Will Texaco, Exxon, Chevron, Amaco save us - please, their part of the problem - these American oil giants are in bed with their eastern oil buddies - and man, aren’t we getting the shaft. Pandora’s box has opened and folks we are in trouble, the oilmen have gone wild and all control has been lost.

Our economy is being beat-down by the shenanigans being pulled by the worlds oil producers; don’t look for oil prices to ever return to previous levels; wave the past oil prices bye-bye. The US economy is tied to the Middle Eastern oil fields - first we lost soldiers, now we’re losing our economy. Their some happy Americans though: the Us oil companies and their shareholders. But too bad - that leaves most of us out - so we continue to suffer these offending energy prices. I think there is a conspiracy about; I see no other reason for these unusually high gas prices, something is going on and it’s going on within the top levels of the United States Government. Something just ain’t right, peeps.

It’s not going to matter who gets the presidency if this oil issue isn’t fixed, for the economy will continue to take a dive. “Elementary Watson”, you need not be a rocket scientist to figure this one out. What can we do? Not much really, unless we get political - you know - band together, march on Capital Hill - that’s about all we can do. We are going to have to change some laws and that requires work, lots of work.

The Oil sheiks and the oil companies are in heaven these days, they aren’t thinking about us poor little sheep, somehow we must find the strength to carry-on. These companies are not going to change so we must change, we need to learn conservation and be more shrewd iin our economic lives. This will help tremendously - sticking to a positive plan of action. All hope is not lost for our economy, things can get better but right now, implement a plan of positve action and make sure to follow it. I’ll be busy doing the same.

I give you all of my music

Hello,
I see that they won't stop, they're still at it. There are many people in my business(music) who feel it's all about the money. I won't name anybody, but you all know who they are- their constantly on the music charts. These folks in most cases can't hold a candle to me. Put yourself in my shoes for a minute...Here I am producing these new and 'off the chain' sounds and I, like yourselves, have to listen to this weak, poorly sang and in most cases poorly produced bullsh*t. So when I tell you I am the best, believe me and demand I prove it. The proof will be provided soon enough, 'believe that'. I aim to please. I am not against a show like American Idol, I just don't think a show like that could take a performer like myself. Sanjaya is OK,..What's Up, Man!? I say these things because I always bring 'that fire'. Damn, it just hit me again- thanks babygirls for bringing 'that fire' that keeps my music coming through. I can't do this sh*t without y'all. Homies, y'all 'in the house' too. Yeah peoples, I'm as REAL as they come. I just got so much to give musically. Those late night shows, on the networks, are just sad music wise. Hold on folks, I'm on my way. I give all I have musically. Later.

Thinking of my little Angel

Hi there,
I've been thinking about my sweet little angel, Glenda. You know? I'm going to keep promoting her until she's bigger than Pokemon. She has magic too, she can fly, make things appear out of air and her most precious power - she has LOVE. As I said before I love starry things and Glenda-the Angel is a very starry thing. She came to me when I was thinking of creating a cartoon . She just started flowing into my mind and before you know it, she was being drawn on the paper before me. That's how I created Glenda-the Angel, out of nothing. I really love her and she's all mine. See her at: Framed Art . Click on the Glenda-the Angel page on the site, she will love to see you. See ya.

Marketing is hard work

Hello,
I am the owner of two businesses and they require all the time I have available. Marketing these businesses is just not easy. You can spend days promoting your products and services. This can go on totally alone, by itself, no other task involved. This fact is quite shocking to any neophyte businessman; he becomes bewildered by the amount of time he has to spend on marketing. I'm accustomed to the fact now, but in the beginning, it knocked me to the floor. You start out with hopes for a successful business, thinking it won't be too hard to succeed; then you are floored by what marketing that business will cost you in time and money. You then see why most businesses fail. The decision to stop or carry on appears abruptly - What should I do? I've made the choice to carry on, I know I will be very successful. But you like many others probably feel enough is enough and let it go. I guess that's the difference in me and others. We all are unique. Those are my thoughts for now, later.

Hooray for the UK!!

Hello,
I'm in the United Kingdom now. An online gallery has put my art on the world wide web. All my peoples in the UK and everywhere else can see my creations live. Marketing is heating up for me and I'm very happy about it. I know that if my artwork is seen it will sell. I have to continue to apply pressure on the marketing end, and this new member of my team really makes me feel good. Hooray for the UK! My artistic talents are finding their place in the world, and this UK gallery is just one more notch in my marketing belt. My framed art, my paintings, my music will all be accepted universally, and mankind will be the beneficiary of this wonderful artistic output. Signing off, bye.

Marketing my framed art

Hi there,
Finally, I make it back to my blog. I've been working at marketing my framed art, and it had me caught up for days. Ask any real business person and they will tell you that marketing can take a lot of your time. But I'm back now and I had to let you guys know that I'm alive and in excellent shape. Let me speak on this marketing thing. I've got this wonderful site at: Framed Art. This site has exciting colorful works that I know anyone would love to have in there home or business. I am doing my best to market this fine site and let the world enjoy my artwork, but the marketing of it is taking more time, much more time than I expected. Things are going ok, though, and I know the results of my efforts will show sooner or later. Everybody, hold your head up, look into the sky and feel good!

An article about framed art

How y'all been?
I'm now an official article writer. I'm an artist/singer and these things I know a lot about, so writing articles based on these subjects is easy for me and informative to you. This article can be read at : ezinearticles.com in the arts and entertainment section, its' title is "Some Thoughts On Framed Art". It's about framed art and how we use and relate to framed art. Art is a constant in our lives, we seem to need artwork and deep within ourselves I feel art holds our inspirations, our perspectives on life, our hopes and even our dreams. These things are what art brings to me, if this were not the case, I would have no desire to create it. Well, people I've released the framed art article, it's filled with information on framed art, read it and enjoy. 'Til next time, see ya.

Two days of marketing

What up, peoples?
I'm just taking a break from two days of straight marketing. I've been studying Google, studying Yahoo, studying everything. As I have said before, marketing must be done if you choose to eat. It can be very hectic and you will need rest after doing it. There is no room for complaining, there is only room for effort. My main thought was centered on selling reproduction rights to my art. I was considering selling some of those rights to printers to use on various items(prints, greeting cards, etc...). Well, it's been days since starting with the thought and I've still not made a decision. This is not something to make a quick judgement on, it is a very important issue in an artist's career. Reproduction rights are not to be given away easily, the artist must be extremely careful in allowing others to reproduce his artwork. I'll sleep better tonight because the issue is now clearer in my mind, and a decision will be made soon. Until next time.

The contacts are growing

Hello Everyone,
Things are getting better on the networking end. I'm getting known and people are begining to contact me. My hard work is beginning to pay dividends it looks. I'm a wonderful, helpful person to know, and I'm always on the lookout for friends. Will you be my friend? OK, I won't get mushy; back to work. The things I produce are ready to satisfy their markets(artwork, music). The people contacting me are now aware of my talents. Will they be instrumental in the marketing of my products and skills? This remains to be seen. That's it for now.

In the network

Check this out,
I have been networking, and the results are looking a little slow as of yet. Give it time, give it time I say to my self, but it is hard not to want immediate results. I tell myself, no one owes me anything and that I must be patient. You guys and gals will need to do the same as I have; if you want to succeed in business. This is true whether you are in the art field or any business. Stay tuned, I have lots of thoughts to share. You won't go to sleep here.

Marketing my art

Man, I'm tired. I've been up day and night trying to get visitors to my website at: members.aol.com/framedartnow. Marketing art is the same as marketing any other product. An artist has to reach those who need or want his products just like the average businessman. No marketing, no eating. I like eating so I'm always getting the word out. Well, I need to take a nap. Talk to you guys later.
