PICASSO COULD DRAW - HE WAS MORE THAN CUBISM(Pics)

Picasso is known for his paintings of cubism, but he could have also rendered more correctively formed pictures. He was a fine artist and he has left us with works depicting his ability to draw reality as it is normally viewed and presented. Picasso consciously chose the abstract path, for he was a skilled traditional artist as well. Just look at these:

DO BLACKS HATE OTHER BLACKS? - Dafur Genocide(Pics)

Look at these pictures, and tell me, does it seem that blacks hate their own kind? Is Dafur just another result of the shared hatred among blacks?

A History Of Art Showcasing

Read this, Fam':

A History Of Art Showcasing

Encasing art in a decorative enclosure has been a technique that has been used since ancient times. It really became popular during the middle ages; artwork was and still is used for status, community well-being and other purposes. Art serves the vital need in man to express himself. Mankind uses art objects to give his environment feeling, to bring that impossible quality to life, a quality that can’t be explained in words, but is always communicated through art.

Presentation Of Art

The presentation of art without picture framing certainly takes nothing away from the piece, but putting that artwork in a harmonious surrrounding adds something to the piece. Art that is enclosed causes our eyes to go directly to the work of art you are viewing, and If it has an eye-catching, attractve picture framing, the art will benefit from the added visual appeal of the enclosure. This has been known before the medieval days; art that is framed has an extra ambiance.

The Type Of Picture Framing

The artwork can’t be placed in just any enclosure; the frame has to accentuate the piece in a some way. Think about the art in the Vatican, in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the framing is exquisite, the art has a lasting effect on us. Now, there are variables to consider when choosing what will best showcase the art. Below I have tabulated these.

You will have to choose between various shapes, these are: circular, triangular, square, non-geometric, and of course, the traditional rectangular designs. All of these shapes have individual qualities that will influence the art in quite real ways. The shape of the frame should be a thought out decision, carelessness in this area can ruin some, or all of the essence of the artwork.

Size is another consideration, the picture frame can be close to the size of the art or it can be much larger. You must choose the picture frame that affects you. Frame size will definitely affect the overall feel of the piece of artwork.

Next, color, you must select an appropriate color or colors. The color(s) do not necessarially have to be the color(s) in the artwork. This decision has to come from the depths of your being; the same process used to select the art must now be used to choose the color(s) of the picture framing. Once again, go with your feelings. Art is about feeling.

Design, the frame will usually have some type of pattern in it, be lines, carvings or molded forms. These can consist of all kinds of creativity, from the plain, to the very detailed. The frame can, in some cases, outshine the art that it encloses. This is not an infrequent occurance. Choose wisely.

Finally, frames are made from a variety of materials. You can have wood(the most common material), metal, porcelain, ceramic and a host of others. They all have a different effect to give. Wood for instance, with its sturdy, natural quality adds a very homely and strong feel to a work of art, as if the wood itself is sheltering the picture or image. Take your time to feel what the material of the frame is saying. This is the world of art.

Art is fascinating and can bring lots of upliftment in our lives. Choose artwork that has a connection with you. If you do this one thing; you can look forward to many years of satisfaction in the viewing of your artwork. There is insightful information above, read it often. I know you want picture framing that adds to your art, not take from it. So, go ahead, armed with your new insight, and get the frame that works.

Thinking about framed art

Hi,
Read this article I wrote on framed art, it is full of information:

How Paintings, Drawings And Graphics Enhance A Space

A print or work of art makes a work place, a blank wall in a house, places where people gather come alive. Art makes space grow and become more interesting because of the energy, attention, and exciting feeling a work of art creates in our eyes and minds. Wall art brightens the work place, soothes the tense mind, takes one away from the stressful activities of the day. Artwork should and can change our attitudes about life. Framed art is more that a mere fragment of our reality, it can change our perpective on life and how we feel about it. So, view a painting, study the art in a museum, let the shapes, the designs, the colors affect you. You will be glad you got a chance to experience it. That is the world of art.

Collecting Artwork

Most people enjoy framed art, but many also love collecting paintings, prints, wall art and designs. This activity brings them much, much joy. They get to personally own a piece of art they can view anytime they choose. That piece belongs to them and only them. Art patrons would not trade that feeling of owning a part of that artist's mind for anything. All illustration should strive to make the viewer feel something. An artist should think about what his art is trying to say and put that idea in the work. Art is communication, the artist has to always remember this. Whether it's still life, floral, animal or landscape art, it should stand the test time.

Framed Art Has Many Uses

People desire artwork for different reasons. Some only for the visual qualities, others for that and more, another for financial gain. Only the first reason really inspires an artist to produce his creations, but he is not offended by the other reasons. He is a creator of art and shares these creations with whomever wants them. Below are the most common reasons for wanting art:

* Plain enjoyment - most people love viewing art.

* Commercial applications - Artwork can be used to sell and aid industry.

*Therapeutive - many people say design and color has a beneficial effect on them.

* It is collectable - you can collect artwork for the joy of it, acquiring work in series, theme, etc..

* Investment - others may want to buy the art you own!!

* As a gift - who doesn't enjoy receiving a piece of artwork.

So, there you have it, my thoughts on framed art. As a producer of framed art I feel very qualified to reveal these thoughts on the subject. Artwork definitely has an effect on me and I'm sure it affects you. Look at, feel the art, it's there for that purpose. And remember, art is life.

See beautiful framed art here: Framed Art I hope you enjoyed this information, it expresses my main views on the subject of framed art. Use this information and let it guide you in your next artwork purchase.

Thinking of my little Angel

Hi there,
I've been thinking about my sweet little angel, Glenda. You know? I'm going to keep promoting her until she's bigger than Pokemon. She has magic too, she can fly, make things appear out of air and her most precious power - she has LOVE. As I said before I love starry things and Glenda-the Angel is a very starry thing. She came to me when I was thinking of creating a cartoon . She just started flowing into my mind and before you know it, she was being drawn on the paper before me. That's how I created Glenda-the Angel, out of nothing. I really love her and she's all mine. See her at: Framed Art . Click on the Glenda-the Angel page on the site, she will love to see you. See ya.

Marketing my framed art

Hi there,
Finally, I make it back to my blog. I've been working at marketing my framed art, and it had me caught up for days. Ask any real business person and they will tell you that marketing can take a lot of your time. But I'm back now and I had to let you guys know that I'm alive and in excellent shape. Let me speak on this marketing thing. I've got this wonderful site at: Framed Art. This site has exciting colorful works that I know anyone would love to have in there home or business. I am doing my best to market this fine site and let the world enjoy my artwork, but the marketing of it is taking more time, much more time than I expected. Starry designs

Hello Everyone,
Today's thoughts were centered on starry images: the heavens above. I awoke feeling light as the floating sky above, and this wonderful sensation was the catalyst for a flowing in of images consisting of galactic, starry, milky way type designs. I seem to have an affinity for this kind of stuff. For some time I have been captured by ideas related to the stars, and now I think I really want to created some beautiful eye-catching artwork with that theme in mind. The works are going to be absolutely breathtaking. I want the artwork to speak and I want it to speak loudly. You won't be able to resist their influence, this I promise you. Take care.

Two days of marketing

What up, peoples?
I'm just taking a break from two days of straight marketing. I've been studying Google, studying Yahoo, studying everything. As I have said before, marketing must be done if you choose to eat. It can be very hectic and you will need rest after doing it. There is no room for complaining, there is only room for effort. My main thought was centered on selling reproduction rights to my art. I was considering selling some of those rights to printers to use on various items(prints, greeting cards, etc...). Well, it's been days since starting with the thought and I've still not made a decision. This is not something to make a quick judgement on, it is a very important issue in an artist's career. Reproduction rights are not to be given away easily, the artist must be extremely careful in allowing others to reproduce his artwork. I'll sleep better tonight because the issue is now clearer in my mind, and a decision will be made soon. Until next time.

Life as art

Today was a day filled with art. The pencil felt good in my hand as I draw shape after shape. I executed logos, animal sketches, worked on some portrait ideas. It has been just one artistic celebration, just me and my creations. Artwork should be from the artist's deep side, from within his soul. My renderings bring so much joy to me. Any real artist knows and feels his art, from its' beginning to its' end. We feel colors, the paint... and all the creative things in life. If that makes me different, so be it. Art makes for a wonderful time. Let art come into your life. Take it easy.

Guess who said "hello"? None other than that sweet little being, Glenda the Angel. That's right, she just wanted to let you all know that she has been thinking about you. She's been busy ushering in the new year, sprinkling love here and there. Glenda is a creation of mine, a cartoon; she'll be bigger than Pokemon. She has more heart. You can see her on my website at:

Art on my mind

What's Up?
I've just returned to earth after a little trip to dreamland. What's up world? I'm ready to serve. Glendell-the Art Master is here and ready to serve. Designs, paintings, watercolors, oils, acrylics and everything is flowing through my mind. There is so much I want to create, it's like a stream and won't stop coming. I only want you to see my art. Buy it only if you like it. This and only this will I accept. If you love my work, you love me. The artwork, the music, is me, it was born from my being. Some deep thought, huh?

Marketing my art

Man, I'm tired. I've been up day and night trying to get visitors to my website at: members.aol.com/framedartnow. Marketing art is the same as marketing any other product. An artist has to reach those who need or want his products just like the average businessman. No marketing, no eating. I like eating so I'm always getting the word out. Well, I need to take a nap. Talk to you guys later.
