President Obama: Is Jimmy Carter Right?

Yes, he said it, former Chief-of-State, Jimmy Carter, said the current president, Obama, is having trouble in office because he is an afro-american. Yep...he went ahead and put it out there, could this man be right? Is the nation really ready for an afro-american President, did we open a can of worms? Something is certainly wrong with racial relations at this time in America - people are seeming to take more allegence to their similar brotheren. It seems to be a trend to me...and this Barack Obama miracle seems to be the direct cause of this new unrest in America...can we get used to a black a president? This is a new phase for all of us and we need to try and listen to each other regardless of skin color. America is , indeed, the world’s “melting pot”, we must continue to get along...this fine country depends on it.

That’s my say so on the issue, what is yours? What are your views? Comment.

Patrick Swayze Dances His Last Dance

His last dance has occurred, Patrick Swayze has danced his last dance in this earthly plane. Patrick Swayze was schooled in dance, and he enjoyed displaying his skills before the world audience. But as it is, his life took a horrible turn and Patrick was rudely taken away from dance and this world. He put up a honorable fight with the pancreatic cancer that violently ravished his body; all the while with the face of a lion. Patrick Swayze gave us all courage to conquer fears; to face our negativities and refuse to let them cloud our lives with hopelessness.

Yes, Patrick Swayze’s last dance has come, but he has left us with the image of a strong, valiant knight in the way he struggled with pancreatic cancer in the final phase of his life. Many people and I’m sure, doctors - predicted his death months before it finally took place. Patrick Swayze was one brave and willful individual, and we all can take strength from the way in which he died. He was a lion. This lion danced his way into our lives, and now he has performed his last dance. Rest in peace Patrick Swayze.

The “King of Pop”, Micheal Jackson has had an amazing and upheaving effect on many of the most popular social networking sites around, and even Google. His untimely death has sparked an unrelenting request for everything with Micheal Jackson on it, or about him. His fans are buying his records and according to at least one well-known site, Twitter, communications called “tweets” about him have shut the site down a few times. Other social networking sites are experiencing similar situations. Google has also been struggling to process Micheal Jackson requests.
