That E-Trade is after my heart and my dollars...have you guys seen those little cute dudes on their commercials? I gotta tell ya....these tiny, little sprouts who I call “The E-Trade Babies”, are a riot. The E-Trade baby commercials are hilarious, I mean you come to feel that maybe these little guys are really talking. The commercials are fantastic, and I for one always stop what I’m doing to view the E-Trade Babies, they are simply irresistible...I’m with the ladies on this one. The two main babies remind you of Johnny Carson and Ed McMahon, those commercials have me rolling every time. I’m laughing right now thinking about them.

E-Trade, keep up the E-Trade babies skit, it’s working...you’re keeping us in stitches.

David Letterman Extorted

Here we go again...poor David letterman is going through it again, the headline: “David Letterman Extorted”. I tell ya, Mr Letterman is having a horrible year personally but a good year for his show’s ratings. This incident , just like the Sarah Palin debacle, is keeping his nerves tensed and his Neilson ratings high. A weird two-edged sword, indeed. Now...David Letterman Extorted? He’s apologizing again....man...this stuff is embarassing me and I’m not even on TV. I’m feeling for poor David Letterman, the fella seems to be jinxed lately. If I were him I’d be alittle more cautious, watch my steps...my actions more. David Letterman extorted?... good grief...how much more can the man take.

I tell ya, if Mr. Letterman can’t end this type of activity from haunting him, we might see him leaving television all together. The man’s mental health is at stake...this is the type of stuff that takes people down all the time. David Letterman is normal human just like the rest of us, and he can succumb to these negative situations just like we all can. For Letterman to be extorted, the person had to really want to injure him. David, man, you need to wake up...wake up!!!

THE LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN was not all laughs last night...he had something on his mind and said so. What was the David Letterman apology for? He wanted, or was commanded to apologize to Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, and her daughters for his shocking jokes about Sarah Palin's family last week. He did seem earnest in the apology, though, even after a war of words in his own defense. A comedian can easily find himself in trouble for his looseness and freedom in expressing a point of view or to get a laugh. And the David Letterman apology was the final result of this comedian’s freedom of choice. He promised to be more careful in the future but we know David Letterman, he dances to his own comedic tune. Well, that’s the life of a daring “funnyman”, and how we love them.

Every spin media type is talking about the secret David Carradine Death Photo. They seem to have forgotten the actor, David Carradine, and his fine career in a tough business. David is most known for his lead role in “Kung Fu”, the hit television series that took the world by storm. Stories about a David Carradine Death Photo and the like are just so sad. I loved him in Kung Fu and respect this man...so even if he was alittle different I still thank him for joy he brought me from his acting ability. My Goodness...Headbanging And Tragedy At The 2009 Tony Awards

I enjoyed the Tony Awards...that opening number was out of this world, that was one magnificent production. The host was down-to-earth and cool, I felt him but I’m afraid Elton John didn’t appreciate his Billy Elliot “scratch-n-sniff” joke. Well...still I loved most of the show...gotta watch again, I tell ya...maybe in 2020....ha...ha....just kidding. Billy Elliot did well, huh? It brought home 10 Tony Awards. WOW!!!

But come on folks...what happened, who was out to get the guy from Poison during the “Rock Of Ages” set - Bret Micheals? I almost fell out(yes, again), when I found out that he went through this. Why did this have to occur - we dealing with professional technicians, right! CRAZY!!! But as they say, “the show must go on”....and they never told us about the incident during the Tony Awards telecast. See, we entertainers have a hard job, too...we can get injured on the job, too. But, I’m thinking somebody on the Tony Awards didn’t quite love Mr. Bret Micheals - that he wanted to hurt Poison’s lead singer. There are many “player haters” in the music industry and show business. How could such an obviously avoidable mishap occur...just hold the prop up til Bret Micheals clears it. HUH?!!!


Well, Bret made it - but the Tony Awards must be more careful when it comes to checking out their stagehands.... Please!!! Bret, get well, man...don’t worry, you will be back rockin’ the house in no time at all.

HDTV: A Government Crime!

I’m so mad, this US government has made a deal with cellular telephone companies behind my back? I’m appalled...I’m disgusted, I feel the government has did me in again. How can our government officials do such things over and over? We are just pawns in the government's game, they use us and abuse us...yes, politics is a dirty game.

But this issue - HDTV - is criminal, the deal was done with no public acknowledgement at all. Where was the media? See you can't totally trust the media either...could they be in on the take, too? A good question, huh? A question that needs to be answered. But this high definition television transition is so unfair even if one is financially able to acquired it. By financially able i mean people who can purchase a high definition television, or who can buy a converter box - these people feel no pain in this HDTV transition. How can they? They have the money to do what is needed to continue seeing their televisions.

The crime committed by the US government entails the total failure of implementing a plan that would have insured that all - the rich and the poor - would have access to a public, tax-supported(FCC) upgradation of our airwaves. I and every other citizen should have been given a no cost solution to this transition to a new frequency band. It is obvious that this was done behind closed doors...and now we get to smell the unbearable stitch of the dirty, unfair dealings of our FCC. This is appalling to the upmost. This high definition situation is so...so unfair; in that, it is a tax, public issue. Tell me, if you didn’t have the funds to buy a new tv, or you couldn’t even afford a converter box, would you feel our government was watching out for you? No!! I’m sure you would say that the FCC really let us down this time agree. Yes...we done have to watch television, that’s so true but we all do, and the airwaves are for all us american citizens, and we have the FCC to insure that we all have the right to these airwaves. How can they flip the switch and cut off a good portion of the television viewing public when they are supposed to look out for our interests.


The results of this underhanded agreement will be devastating, many will go without tv...I sorely feel for these people. Many have no access to the internet, many can’t read, many do not have the money that they will need to go along with the coupons the government is issuing. They really messed up this time - greed was forefront in the FCC’s mind this time - they did us in bigtime. I speak mostly for the have-nots, these people are and will suffer from this so unfair circumstance. So many will be without television come June 12, 2009. What an inconsiderate, selfish act on the part of our government and electronics companies. You all get a F, what a horrible way to treat your fellow americans. I have spoken.

DIME TIME: Free

Yes!... Yes!... Yes!!! Now, this is one I really...really like, this wonder is called “FREE”, she used to host a show called 106 & Park” that was on BET. This is a dime I been wanting to present for some time...fellas...ain’t she fine as wine? What a WOMAN, this is only for the big boys...you could get hurt playing around with this one.

This young lady has intellect and a body to match, but she has been through a rough period - she is no longer a host on 106 & Park - and I could cry, what a loss. But I hear she is singing, so let’s all hope she continues to succeed. Good luck Free...with yo fine self.

She Loves McDonald's McNuggets, But...

I myself love the taste of those little bread covered chicken gems of delicacy. I just love dipping a McNugget into some of that sweet, delicious barbeque sauce they give you to accompany them. It makes for a meal fit for a king, and a queen, according to news out of Fort Pierce, Florida. Down here we have a young woman looking at law troubles because of her passion for McNuggets. She called 911 to get police help over a McDonald's McNugget dispute. She, Latreasa Goodman, said, “This is an emergency. If I would have known they didn't have McNuggets, I wouldn't have given my money, and now she wants to give me a McDouble, but I don't want one. This is an emergency." McNuggets are a prescription to her, she “needs her McNuggets. Give this woman her McNuggets.... Please!!!

Next time...Miss Latreasa Goodman, try...really try, not to allow those juicy morsels, along with their tangy, delectable sauce, get the best of you and get you into trouble. McDonald's, I’m appalled....how can you serve such addictve substances. McNuggets are just to scrumpous...

“America’s Got Talent”, This Show Is REAL!

Alright, they, NBC, has finally created a talent show that I like and give my approval to, yes it has similarity to “American Idol”, but it is far better, you got true audience participation. Now listen to to who it has as the judges: Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne and David Hasselhoff, yeah, the guy from ”Night Rider” who drove a car named “Kit”. And just guess who the host is? No...Wrong...it’s none other than the Honorable Mr. Jerry Springer, yes, of the “Jerry Springer Show”, he’s the master of ceremonies.



I really feel this NBC show is a great showcase of performers, some good; some horrible but rest assured, NBC’s “America’s Got Talent”, is a real good television show, and deserves a good run on the tube, i’m addicted now and I feel you will be too.



Sharon Osbourne is so real on this show, being that Sharon we all know and love so much, we got Piers Morgan, the Simon Cowell of the show, but I feel his opinions are correct, heart felt judgements, not just for hype but to help the performers develop and hone their art, next up we have the playboy, David Hasselhoff, his input is also honest and I feel accurate judgements. All of “America’s Got Talent”’s judges are excellent, this is a honest show with less of the fanfare of “American Idol”, “America’s Got Talent” is more about true talent, and less about hype created by the judges. And the audience participation is really wonderful....I just love seeing the studio audience get into the show...this is a real good show.

Crystle Stewart: This Is The 2008 Miss USA?

This I didn’t know...I don’t keep up with beauty pageants, the winner of the Miss USA Pageant was a black contestant, Miss Crystle Stewart, who won the Miss USA title in 2008, well...well...well...this was certainly a big surprise to me...given the Vanessa Williams debacle of years gone by. For me, and the world to see another negro get any big beauty pageant crown was rather shocking - I’m still shocked, I wouldn’t have believe it...


And man...is this 2008 Miss USA not the boom?...this “dime” is surely a beauty, she representing for real...wow...do it, baby. Again, her name is Crystle Stewart, she is from Texas and what a wonderful sight...when I saw her I nearly fell off my couch, she's that striking...a real pretty woman, indeed. And she is a black woman...that means alot...alot... Job well done, Crystle Stewart, our 2008 Miss USA.

Ice Cube Replaces Vin Diesel In "XXX: State Of The Union"

Ah...man...I’m still recovering, Ice Cube was ‘off the chain' in this movie, "XXX: State Of The Union", this movie simply had everything an action movie should have - suspense, heroes, villains, visuals, and of course action. This "XXX: State Of The Union" was so packed with energy, I didn’t get up to go to the frig until each commercial break. It was simply a great film, well put together, Arnold S must agree. "XXX: State Of The Union" is a masterpiece.

This motion picture was a continuous, nonstop action-packed thriller, showing how good a movie can be. While viewing this film, I felt my blood boiling witrh anticipation of the next scene, the next eye, jaw dropping piece of special effects, the next Ice Cube sequence, this movie kept me on the edge of my seat. The only thing missing was that popcorn and that “theatre feel”, you know that large space, the crowd, but I still was totally blown away. Thank you Ice Cube for delivering an Oscar deserving performance.

Check this: Ice Cube wasn’t even supposed to be in this movie, he was the replacement for Vin Diesel. But I assure you Vin Diesel isn’t missed in this movie, Ice Cube held his own in this cinematic triumph. Ice Cube showed all his skills, I’ll so proud of him, he should get more action roles from this fine performance. Cube, you were “straight out of Compton” on this one. Great, great job on this one, I enjoyed every moment.

Leona Lewis, Jimmy Kimmel & Carson Daly Ain’t Playing

Leona Lewis, I saw Leona Lewis last night on “Jimmy Kimmel Live”, he and Carson Daly’s “Last Call” really put on recording artists that people want to see; even if they are not widely known. They also put on our favorites too - singers other shows won’t book. Theses telecasts give new artists some very valuable exposure. Leona Lewis is the latest beneficiary, she performed on the hip show “Jimmy Kimmel Live” last night, she seems like she really wants to be a big rock star. What? Every singer wants to be a rock star or singing star...we all want to succeed and succeed big. Man, was I surprised...the woman is gorgeous, I mean drop-dead gorgeous - and you wonder why I’m in this business?**### - just kidding.



Hey, how about “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and Carson Daly’s “Last Call” though, them cats doing it. Right? I mean they “on point” with bringing on them acts - and that’s real. They’re giving the “rock star” feel or favor. “Jimmy Kimmel Live” even has real outdoor concerts, I mean real stage shows, first time I saw that on a late night show. Or was it Carson Daly’s...? Oh yeah, how about Jimmy Kimmel’s Matt Damon skit, that’s so funny, poor Matt Damon, if only they had enough time. Like I said, “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and “Last Call” ain’t playing peoples, they pulling out all the stops and I, for one, love it. Their musical guests is what’s powering both shows, and that’s okay with me...I can go to David Letterman or Conan O’Brien for my chuckles...


Now, this Leona Lewis is nice to look at, I would like to inspect and observe this specimen again. Can some one tell me where I can do that? He, hee...Leona Lewis, you looking good girl...

P. Diddy Getting An Oscar For “A Raisin In The Sun” ?

“A Raisin In The Sun”

I watched Puff Daddy’s version of “A Raisin In The Sun”, a film first made in 1961 starring Sidney Poitier, Claudia McNeil, Diana Sands, Ruby Dee and Louis Gossett Jr. on ABC the other night. Puff Daddy’s version was quite interesting, P. Diddy himself had a leading role, playing the troubled young man - who so badly wanted to be a success. I’d never seen Sean Combs act, so I was rather surprised to see him give such an inspired performance. Does his performance deserve an Oscar? This was one good film, I really enjoyed this movie.

Now the movie itself was in the line of the “old negro spirituals”, no hope anywhere. But it ended like “Cinderella”. This new “A Raisin In The Sun” was a good movie, no doubt. ABC took a chance and from the news sources, ABC won big. Another feather in the hat of mogul Sean “Puffy” Combs and his new “BadBoy Films”, Diddy just keep doing it. Oprah, watch out baby, this Sean "Puffy" Combs ain’t playing baby. I LOVE some Oprah. She’s proud of you P. Diddy.

And the cast performed professionally, even the little boy did a fine acting job. Yes, I know about the stellar record of some of the actors(Phylicia Rashad Audra McDonald), the Tony Awards, etc.. They all did a wonderful job. Big Ups, again. Oh and I have to mention that beautiful, naturally fine as* Sanaa Lathan, whoaa...I sho’ enjoyed seeing her Puff Daddy, thanks homie.

The New England Patriots Are No Miami Dolphins

The big game, “The Super Bowl”, is here and everybody is awaiting the best two teams of the NFL to engage in battle. But this will be no average championship contest, one of the teams has captured our attention. These New England Patriots have achieved something that no other team has - except one other team - their nemesis - The Miami Dolphins.

Now these Patriots are a special bunch, this can easily be seen by any football spectator even if their knowledge of the game is a little shaky. This team wins so seeming effortless that you wonder if their opponent is really trying to defeat them. That’s how good the New England Patriots are, they have excellent players in every position.

Here’s where the train goes off the tracks for this team and glorious NFL franchise: They are cheaters. The New England Patriots were caught videotaping another team's defensive signals - this is a horrible revelation - how could they? My faith in the New England Patriots and , for that matter, today's NFL, was permanently shaken. And of course, I can’t see how their perfect season can be called legitimate. This team CHEATED.



Don Shula, the winningest coach in NFL history, and coach of the perfect season 1972 Miami Dolphins, is totally right in his appraisal of the New England Patriots. He said the Patriots should have an asterisk placed by their record. He said the New England Patriots have been caught cheating - and this omits any claim they could have of a perfect season.

Today we had another revelation about these New England Patriots - but maybe I shouldn’t blame them for this one. Well...you won’t believe this one: the NFL has allowed the evidence of the Patriots cheating to be destroyed. Folks, even if you are a die-hard New England Patriot fan, even you have to shake your head on this incriminating action.

The above expresses the reason why the New England Patriots should not be considered in anyway equal to those record-setting, non-cheating Miami Dolphins. We all know that if you chat to win, you haven’t won.

Dave Chappelle Was Made For Comedy

Dave Chappelle...ah man, this guy is a fool...he made me laugh so hard I was hollering. The man is FUNNY, I mean FUNNY! You got to see him as Bigsby-the blind black white supremacist. After seeing this skit, even the truest racist will find humor in himself. Get the video/dvd and see for yourself, you won’t be able to stop laughing. It had me hollering in laughter. This is comedy at its best. Dave Chappelle is a find, he is really funny. I thought I’d let you in on this discovery.

"HEROES" IS RETURNING, GET READY!

Alright,“Heroes” is returning, now this is a quality show. This show has good writing with attention-grabbing plots and scenes plus some fine acting. I happened to find “Heroes” during one of my channel-surfing sessions...wow, am I glad I stopped on it and gave it a shot. Really, it's worth the hype, it’s a darn good show. It will be airing again - shouldn’t have to worry about episodes - they’re already in the can...you know, the writers’ strike. Folks, the wait has ended - “Heroes” is returning to television. So, get ready, get your beverages and chips...and hold on to your seats.
